Ok so I definitely thought that this was going to be way smaller than it is. I saw that they sell a grill top of this so it can be a one-stop for grilling but thought "who would grill like one hot dog at a time?" Well you can fit the whole pack on this thing (probably, I haven't tried it myself) because it's INSANELY HUGE.

I have been using the chimney of insanity when I go camping or at home BBQs. It is perfect because it is so much faster than having to wait for the coals to heat up. I like to use brown paper bags as my fuel source and lump coal. The best part is no nasty flavor from using lighter fluid when using a chimney. I only recently discovered using a chimney and wish I had long ago. It is so much faster and safer. I can load up my chimney and have hot white coals in about 15 minutes and never have to use lighter fluid. This Chimney is large enough that I don't have to do a second load. If you have never used a Chimney give this one a try you will never go back to using lighter fluid. This one also has an optional port for a fan to speed up your time but I have not had the opportunity to get one yet.

This chimney is a beast! It is huge! I only fill it half way for my grill. I really love the fact that you can just add a grill grate and just grill straight on the chimney which makes it perfect for camping.

This is so easy to use and the result is fast too!! I could light up coals in less than 4 minutes with the help of this Chimney of Insanity. It's very durable and love that it's made of great galvanized steel and has heat resistant handle for me to hold.

This chimney is absolutely massive which is perfect if you have a large grill and need to start a lot of charcoal. It also works great to start your kindling for a fire. Once the charcoal or wood has started, the turbo fan works super well to stoke the heat way up. Strong materials and great design!

We put this chimney thru its paces this weekend and were not disappointed! Getting coal started was a breeze, no lighter fluid required, and the coals were hot and ready in a matter of minutes. The XL size is really nice when you want to get a big grill session started. Later we used the chimney with the grill top accessory for a quick sear on a sous vide brisket and it worked like a charm.. Insane direct heat just torched the meat in no time. This is kit for the serious grillmaster.

Hands down - the Chimney of Insanity XL is Awesome! I've been grilling and hosting BBQs for decades and nothing is more frustrating than waiting for charcoal to light when I'm ready to cook. This "monster sized" chimney does take 2 hands but it makes filling the grill quick and easy. Just put some paper, twigs, cardboard - you name it - in the bottom as well as in the side port & fill the container with charcoal briquettes. Light it up and in minutes the charcoal is glowing. The side port allows me to put more flammables in if needed and is a huge plus. With 2 hands, dump it into the BBQ and put the steaks on the grill. As a bonus, given its size, it could be taken on the go with a small grill on top, and used to make a quick burger. Would love to have had this when I was a scout! This this is great! 5 Stars!

This is perfect for lighting my charcoals fast so that I can get to cooking quickly plus it holds a ridiculous amount so all you need is one container full for most grills. I don't like using chemicals to light my coals so this really is a life saver for me. This in conjunction with the bbq dragon fire starter fan is the best combo you can have for lighting coals and keeping the grill going strong too.

This thing is amazing. I would have never believed I could get charcoal started with a little bit of paper and one match; but did it over and over again while camping with this product. I just faced it into the wind and had hot charcoal in minutes. Great product.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
