Named after the Japanese word for “artisan,” this is a grill like no other. The rectangular design is the perfect shape for cooking with indirect heat and an offset fire. Three levels to build your fire on give you the cooking flexibility to smoke, grill, or sear for endless possibilities. The taller design also allows for more space between the lowest level and your food, which are the perfect conditions for indirect cooking and smoking with gentler, even heat. Laser-cut quarter-inch thick grill grates provide superior heat retention for high-temperature grilling and searing.
Four shuttered air vents provide cross ventilation that allows you to add oxygen to the fire on one side while heat and smoke envelop your food. These two vents at the top and two at the bottom give you precise temperature control while cooking.
