Whenever you find a weekend morning with nothing on your schedule (as rare as that might be) or you just want an energy booster in the evening, Irish iced coffee is the perfect treat. The classic Irish coffee is coffee, iced or hot, mixed with Irish whiskey and cream. This is a great drink to have out on the patio on a warm day off!
Ingredients
Ingredients for Irish Coffee
- 2 oz. Irish whiskey
- Splash of simple syrup
- 2 oz. iced coffee
- Splash of milk (or half and half)
Ingredients for Garnish
- Whipped cream
- 1 cinnamon stick
Instructions
Instructions for Irish Coffee
- Fill glass with ice
- Add Irish whiskey
- Add simple syrup
- Top with iced coffee
- Add milk
- Finish with whipped cream
- Add freshly grated cinnamon, if desired
