Introducing the Pit Boss Silver Star 3 Series digital electric smoker, packed with innovative & easy to use features that will have you smoking like a Boss in no time. Smoke low & slow or crank up the heat from 150 to 400-degrees Fahrenheit with a 1,650 watt electric element and digital control panel. Set precise cooking temperature and time with the digital control panel, featuring a readout display for at-a-glance settings information, internal temperatures and readouts for up to two wired meat probes (one meat probe is included). The digital controller also features a smoke button to manually turn on the heating element when adding fresh wood chips, as well as to increase smoke output before opening the door. Two adjustable damper valves at the top of the smoker give you even more control over temperature and airflow. The double-walled, cold rolled steel cabinet is finished in a stunning silver high-heat coating, offering 760 square-inches of cooking space with 4 porcelain-coated, height-adjustable cooking racks. A sturdy latch securely seals the door shut and features a large viewing window with external heat indicator to keep an eye on things, without sacrificing heat and smoke from breaking the seal. An oversized, front-load tray easily slides out for loading up your favorite wood chips, offering up to 2 hours of cooking time per load. A removable water pan mounted near the base of the cabinet can be filled with your favorite marinade to add more flavor and keep foods fall-off-the-bone tender. A grease tray catches drippings at the bottom of the smoker and slides out for easy cleanup. Check internal temperatures while cooking with the included meat probe, conveniently stowing away in a dedicated control panel slot. 2 front swivel casters, 2 rear locking swivel casters and a handle allow for easy placement and portability.

Temp issues do to power sourceWhen I first started this up. I could not get It up to temp. After reading more into the manual. I realized my extension cord was not the right gauge and was too long. I discovered in order to get it to the 350f required for break in, that you need to use wood chips, and you need to bring it up to 225 for 20 minutes before cranking it up.. I plugged it directly into the wall and made sure to do this. I was able to get it to 350 to do the burn off! My 2nd smoker from BBQ Guys.I purchased a Pitt Boss Series 3 Electric Smoker and it worked great for a while but Customer Service was very kind and helpful with remedying the problem quickly. I has since received the Red Rock Series 2 gas Smoker. Both were easy to assemble (good instructions) and the Red Rock works great. The gas allows me to take it camping. | Was working great used 6 times nowHad my smoker little under a year now and it keeps popping when I set the time and temperature. | Great Smoker! Best I ever had!I started smoking meats in 1991. I have had 4 Bullet Smokers one electric, one charcoal, and two propane, three electric pit Smokers and three big chiefs (I use these for fish and my from scratch bacon). I bought this Series 3 Pit Boss three years ago. It has never failed to reack any temp I need, or any smoke level I need. I have smokes pork butt, turkey breasts and whole turkies, chicken whole and cut up, and multiple prime ribs. I am never, ever, disappointed! It doesn't even matter what kind of chips I use! | Pit Boss 3 series smoker electric smokerI bought this smoker just after Christmas of last year. I have used it almost every weekend and cant say enough good things about it and the job it does. | Works perfectly!I have had this in Colorado for a few months, but weather kept me from really using it. After moving to Florida a few months ago, I've been on it quite a bit. Simply love it! I've always wanted an easy-to-use smoker that didn't take up alot of space. This smoker fits the bill. Everything I make in it turns out amazing.
