After an hour the auger stopped working. Temp dropped. Called cust service. They shipped a new motor and auger. Just removed the old and installed the new motor/auger. Loaded the smoker with a new piece of brisket - fingers crossed. Hope it doesn't break again. Saw other reviewers with the exact same problem.

(My first attempt with this smoker). While smoking a pork butt about 3 hours in, the heat was going down and the smoker was making a loud noise. I turned it off and checked to see if the pellets were clogging the auger. I cleared the pellets away and turned it back on. Upon inspection I noticed that the auger was not turning. I called the customer service number, and the support tech sent me a link so he could see through my phone what was going on. He tried to have me fix it, (which was odd to me) and was not able to get the auger reconnected. He decided to order a new part for me to try again to fix it. (Again, odd to me). I ordered the smoker through BBQ Guys, but the service was through Pit Boss Grills? Not sure how this is going to turn out.

This thing was my first pellet grill. I bought it specifically for cooking chickens at competitions. First time I used it it got up to temp, started cooking and then approximately 30 minutes into the cook it dropped temp and the auger quiit working. Shook it around, and the auger started working, finishing the cook. Round 2 I tried to cook and it did the same the same thing. Never could get the auger to engage. Contacted support and basically they want me to install a new auger motor that still has not arrived. Called Danson/PitBoss/Country Smokers and they asked that I uninstall the auger and clear it. I did all that. Turned it on with no pellets and the auger was working. Loaded with pellets and nothing. Spend your money elsewhere, this thing is a piece of junk.

Best portable smoker ever! This is our second because we wore our ford first one out. The customer service from BBQ GUYS is like no other. I will not buy from anywhere else. Top notch, which you must don't find these days! Thank you BBQ GUYS.

Purchased my 1st Country Smoker a few years ago and used it hundreds of times for anything and everything!! Best smoker I've ever used. Only reason I'm having to buy a second is that I left it outside in the rain uncovered so its totally my fault that it was beyond repair.

Only worked a few times and quit
Product works well the only issue is the temp Guage and dial will say one temp while the digital readout says 100 degrees hotter.

This really is a great little pellet grill! I've used it for pork loins, 1.5 racks of ribs, pulled pork and it worked very well. I liked mine so much, I bought one for my uncle!

Questions & Answers
Hi, Browzer. The grease cup is on the exterior of the grill, on the right hand side.
Asked by Browzer | Answered by BrowzerHi Tracey. This portable wood pellet grill has a built-in ignitor with push button startup, so it lights pellets on its own!
Asked by Tracey | Answered by TraceyThe pellets have a built in igniter and temp control. That's the beauty of this grill.
Asked by Tracey | Answered by TraceyNo, have had this pellet grill cooking at Galveston wind and never a problem. This grill will go up to over 500 degrees so it will cook..and hot if you want.
Asked by Bri | Answered by BriI've used the Country Smoker successfully in 20f temp and it doesn't blow out. And it can get pretty hot but it's best to think of it as a slow roaster/smoker rather than capable grill. I always roast/smoke low and slow in the CS but finish steak on another grill.
Asked by Bri | Answered by BriHello Gene! The grill will usually stay hot for around 30 minutes after the pellet feeder has been turned off. I hope this helps!
Asked by Gene | Answered by GeneHi Nicole. This grill is manufactured in China.
Asked by Nicole Dags | Answered by Nicole DagsHi Kim! There is not a case available that is designed for this unit.
Asked by Kim | Answered by KimHi Tom. Pellet grills require electricity to run the motor which feeds the pellets into the fire box, so they cannot be used without electricity.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
