I have the 36" model, it's about 4 months old. Very pretty ,but doesn't work. We have been able to use it maybe a dozen times, unfortunately the grill struggles to maintain temp. Lately the grill won't even fire up and when it does get lit, nothing above 200 degrees. So far it has been a colossal disaster and mega waste of money. Yes I have tried all the recommended solutions, cleaning out the fire pit, check pellets, verifying air flow, etc. still does not work properly. I have had better luck with a cheap Traeger even though it rusted out after a few years. For the price point, I could have swapped a half dozen Traegers for this expensive non functioning machine. The funny thing is I can't even leave a review on the manufacturer site, blocks me as a non customer, even though I have the video showing it is installed and non working.

When it rains, any left over pellets in the hopper get soaked and it's a mess to clear out. The feeder also jams often even in dry conditions. Rain gets in behind the touch panel and in all the compartments, even with a cover. For the price I expected much more. Looks impressive though...

WHAT A BEAUTY, BUT A DISASTER IN THE DESIGN. PELLETS LEFT IN THE SMOKER WILL GET WET. THE FEEDER SUCKS AND ALWAYS JAMS, THE IGNITER WORKS HALF THE TIME AND CAUSES HUGE FIRES AND RUINS MEAT!! STAY AWAY

I built mine into my outdoor kitchen about four years ago. It worked awesome for about three months then the problems started. Out of the four years it has been functional about 8 months. Problem Is its built in. I already switched back to a wood fired smoker. (What can go wrong with that? Wood too green?) not sure how to fill that gaping 5k hole in my outdoor kitchen now.

Amazing pellet grill. The stainless steel is perfect, the grill heats up nice. I had no issue with BBQ guys delivery, quick, easy, and most important not a dent in the box let alone the grill upon arrival. I bought with insert, so once I modified my outdoor kitchen for the insert, this went in seamlessly. I have cooked on it for burgers, brats, and yesterday ribs. No noted hotspots, the grill fired up no problem. The auger was seamless. In 6 hours of smoking for the ribs, I went through about half of the hopper, so better than I anticipated. The lack of wireless / Wifi is odd, but I use a Thermpro wireless thermometer which correlated well with the temp on the grill and notifies me of meat temp to ensure its cooked to perfection (thus I don't mind the lack of Wifi, just surprising for this expensive of a grill). That being said, this to me, seems like the best built in pellet grill on the market after around 2.5 years of research. Glad I finally pulled the trigger on this one!

I have many pellet grills, inching a 30k Cook Shack 750. The biggest issues that I have is that this is not a smoker as such, but a grill. I built and outdoor kitchen all Coyote. Since everything is built in, if I wanted to change it would be a nightmare. The fact most pellet smokers have WIFI apps costing have as much as this and this Coyote pellet smoker does not, is a bigger deal than you would think. It looks great, has good bright controls, probes work good, but the app would be a real blessing. I went with Coyote as recommendation of the BBQ guys rep. If you want lots smoke and WIFI, this is not your toy.

So far so good. The temp holds even with the lid open. That was one of biggest complaints with my traegger. The hopper to pour the pellets in is small and you will spill some. The LED screen is bright and simple to use. I used the meat thermometer probe once and it appears to be. I've cooked burgers, dogs, veggies, chicken, corn, kabobs, and smoked a brisket. All works well and I"m happy with my purchase.

I have had my Coyote pellet grill for just a few months now, and have used it only a few times. It has broke twice, recently the menu board went out and I was unable to use it over the holidays, since Coyote is closed for two weeks. Now they want me to tear the menu board apart and send photos to them, as apparently they don't have anyone that can service them. I assume then, they have to make some determination based off the photo's, send appropriate parts, and I put it back together…..totally ridiculous!!

I was nervous based on things I had read but glad I took a chance. This pellet grill is awesome. Holds temp exactly where you want it to. Searing plate for steaks is great. Temp probes are great. Only negative I can think of us is no wifi capability. I've only had a few months but have cooked on it probably 20-30 times. Very please with it. The free cover is a little cheap. I wouldn't spend what they charge for one. But the grill is a 10.

Questions & Answers
Hi Xbirdo. Coyote has not mentioned any plans for WiFi on newer models, citing safety issues.
Asked by Xbirdo | Answered by XbirdoHi, Mike. Similar to all built in grills, the Coyote Pellet Grill is kept in place by simply sliding in to the cabinet cut out. The weight alone keeps it in place.
Asked by Mike | Answered by MikeHi Wayne, this model is designed to use only pellets.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
