This grill is terrific. I've owned several Weber Grills including a couple Q grills. The turbo feature on this grill ramps the temperature up fast and lets you sear meat/steaks.
Overall pretty happy with this grill. We replaced a Q2200 with this Q2800N+. Pros - Heat control seems to be improved. Larger cooking surface with only a slight increase in overall size. Second burner offers additional temperature control. Cons - Will not reach advertised max temperature on a slightly windy day. For a portable grill the grease tray should be secured. Traveling with this grill in the bed of a truck, the grease tray will blow out. This required adding wire ties to hold the grease tray in. Plastic clip on side shelves are flimsy and do not match the price of the grill. Overall ok, but disappointed in the grease tray and side shelves.
We had a 20-year-old spirit grill that needed to have the valves replaced for the second time. We decided after looking at the grill and the bigger picture to replace it with this so far it's a very good choice, and we love the fact that it's portable. It would be great if the cover would also cover the side shelves.
Needs work in: 1. Keep side flip-up trays like on Q1200 models. 2. Spark ignition or gas ignition to center burner needs improvement, too much time delay. 3. Gas line fitting from hose to grill is not identified by size/type, pls. Share that info. Having griddle on one side and grill on other are great work! (Had to purchase griddle separately.)

As a new owner of the Weber Q2800N+, I can confidently say that this grill addresses the few issues I had with the traditional Q models while retaining most of their advantages. One of the standout improvements is the addition of a second burner. This feature allows the grill to reach very high temperatures, even in cooler weather, which was a challenge with the smaller Q models. The secondary burner also provides the flexibility to cook at lower temperatures, in the 225-250 degree range, making it suitable for low and slow cooking. However, it's important to note that the secondary burner is positioned directly in the center of the grill without any shielding, which can create a hot spot that might cause burning if not monitored closely. Another change is the design of the side tables. Unlike the legacy units where the tables were on a hinge and could fold in and out, the Q2800N+ requires the tables to be snapped into place and removed for transport. This is less convenient compared to the folding tables of the older models. Overall, despite these minor issues, I have been very happy with the Weber Q2800N+. It offers great performance and versatility, making it a valuable addition to my outdoor cooking setup.

Love weber grills! I have 6 of them at different locations. Both gas and charcoal.Kettle grills are awesome. Only thing about 2800N is the side trays do fold up into grill like old Q grills. You have to detach and lay side trays inside grill when not in use.
Looks great and works well. Easy to assemble. Cross threaded one bolt but it still came together. My 19-year-old previously owned grill, also a Weber, is still working. I expect this one to live up to the legend.
Love the grill and included stand. I was amazed by how heavy the box was when it was delivered, but it's relatively easy to move (on the included casters) once assembled. The packaging was incredibly efficient and assembly was easy enough if you are used to self assembly. Just remember to check the pictures carefully (there is no text) and pay attention to which bag is needed for the hardware at each step. The grill itself is great- after all- it's a Weber. Perfect size for our small family, but slightly bigger than the old WeberQ 200 it replaced after 12 years of use. Really like that the tank is up off the ground and enclosed. We really appreciate that this model has the side shelves, we only wish that they would fold down. Instead they have to be actually removed. No hardware required to remove them but still a pain, and I'm not sure how many times you can dis-mount them before they start to get loose.
Great portable grill! The three burners get the grill to 500+ degrees quickly and cooks evenly.

When will my item arrive?
Once shipped, items usually arrive within 3-5 business days. While UPS and FedEx are our carriers for smaller items, be aware that larger items and orders are shipped via freight. The freight process is a bit more complicated than what we've all come to expect for small parcels, so it's important that you're prepared and understand what's required of you well before delivery day.
- Most freight products ship on a pallet
- Some carriers will call to schedule a delivery window, while others will deliver the shipment to a reasonably accessible location closest to your residence (their goal is to deliver as near a garage door as they can).
- We'll specify which process you can expect in your shipping confirmation email.
For carriers that schedule delivery appointments:
Carriers that schedule delivery appointments require you to be home for delivery and provide your signature. The delivery is made with a semi-truck with lift gate services, and the shipment is dropped off at the curb. If you authorize the shipping company to leave the delivery without a signature, BBQGuys can't be held responsible for damages that occur during delivery. As complicated as this process may seem, we've only scratched the surface here — please review our detailed guide to freight delivery so there are no surprises when a freight shipment heads your way.
For carriers that deliver without an appointment:
Carriers that deliver without an appointment don't require you to be home or set up a delivery window, and you aren't required to sign for the pallet(s). Instead of scheduling an appointment, arranging your schedule to be home for the delivery, and signing to confirm receipt, you can sit back and let your items come to you. If you're home at the time of the drop-off, you can request the driver place your delivery in the garage; if you're out of the house, the driver will leave it near the garage or doorstep.
