Things We Love:
If you're looking for a grill that’s both beautiful and highly functional, the Fire Magic Echelon Diamond is the one for you. This grill is stylish and offers a variety of options with plenty of cooking power too. The Echelon Diamond series is sure to act as a showstopping centerpiece in any outdoor kitchen. Fire Magic is also proudly made in the USA.
Customization
The Echelon Diamond line of grills is highly customizable. For example, you can select the type of burner setup you want. You can also choose cast stainless steel or any combination of infrared and cast stainless burners. Both burner types are well designed with the highest quality materials for exceptionally high heat output.
High Heat Output
Fire Magic burners have a reputation for having intense heat. The cast burners are a unique "E-shape", which means they have more burner ports than typical cast burners that run straight front to back.
High Quality Materials
This grill has a sleek, 304-grade stainless steel body with polished edges and perfectly placed control knobs. Inside the grill, heavy-duty perforated stainless-steel flavor grids help keep grease away from the burners. The 304-grade stainless steel, trapezoid shaped Diamond Sear cooking grids offer more surface area than traditional round cooking grids. This allows more contact with your food, giving you those highly desired grill marks.
Large Cooking Area & Easy Ignition
Fire Magic’s true width cooking grids offer some of the largest cooking areas by square inch in their size classes, so you can cook more food at once. Fire Magic also has a terrific "hot surface" ignition which makes lighting the grill a snap. It has a backup system just in case the hot ignition fails, although this rarely happens. It's easy to light the grill by placing a lighter near a small tube underneath the cooking grid.
Included Echelon Diamond Features
The control knobs are backlit by blue LED lights and there’s even a built-in digital thermometer with meat probes for easy monitoring of your BBQ! (Echelon Diamond A Series has an analog thermometer). Another optional innovative feature is Fire Magic's exclusive Magic View Window. The Magic View Window is a fog-free viewing window built into the lid of the grill so you can watch your food as it cooks. This makes it super easy to check on the progress of your food without opening the lid and letting heat escape.
Another nice feature is the spring-assisted lid, which makes opening and closing of the lid easy. As an added bonus, all Echelon Diamond grills come with a free personalized inscribed name plate. Just fill out an inscription form in the same package as the owner’s manual and Fire Magic will send back the name plate free of charge. You can add your name, favorite sports team, a special date, or anything you desire, so get creative!
The Echelon Diamond also includes a handy charcoal/smoker basket that fits over a burner, allowing you to cook over charcoal, or to infuse your food with delicious smoky flavor. These grills also come pre-assembled so you can start grilling and enjoying your grill faster.
Available Fire Magic Accessories & Warranty
Fire Magic offers a great line of outdoor kitchen accessories, so you can build a matching outdoor kitchen with Fire Magic components. The Echelon’s warranty is admirable and what you should expect from a premium gas grill company. The stainless steel components have a lifetime warranty (excludes the flavor grids, which are covered for 5 years). The infrared burners are covered by warranty for five years, and the valves are covered for 15 years. With Fire Magic’s attention to detail and quality construction, our customers have reported very few problems with Echelon Diamond. When issues are reported, Fire Magic is quick to resolve all problems and leave customers happy.
Things To Consider:
This grill has very few weak spots, but you can expect some flare ups, especially when grilling fatty meats like as burgers, even when cooking down below medium heat.
